Rachel Gordon is a freelance journalist and copywriter. She is a former editor of Insurance Age, which focuses on the UK broker market and she was also the launch editor of Health Insurance, which specialises in protection and healthcare. She has since written extensively on business and financial services topics and a current role, in a different sphere, is for a range of horticulture titles. Other ongoing work includes technology and risk management copywriting projects and she also produces weekly blogs and bespoke corporate writing for a range of companies including insurers. Rachel is a former winner of BIBA and ABI awards for journalism. Outside of work, she is a parent of two older adopted children who are at secondary school and she is involved with animal charities including fund-raising for the RSPCA and carrying out home suitability checks for a small German Shepherd charity.
